Eric Sternberger is a San Rafael–based mediator focused on business, shareholder, LLC, partnership, real estate, and employment disputes. A partner at Ragghianti Freitas LLP, he brings more than 25 years of experience as outside general counsel and business litigator to every matter, so he understands both the legal issues and the business realities driving a dispute.
Eric has served as a mediator since 2008 and as a settlement conference panelist for the Marin County Superior Court since 2008. He mediates in person in San Rafael and throughout Marin, Sonoma, San Francisco, and the greater Bay Area, and by Zoom for parties anywhere.
Most of Eric's matters come from counsel who want a prepared, practical neutral. He also receives court appointments and works directly with parties who want to resolve a dispute before litigation. He handles mediations and settlement conferences in contract, corporate governance, partnership breakup, real estate, employment, professional liability, and other commercial cases.
